Is There An Additional Cost To Have
A .ca Domain Name? |

Yes -
As an example
IPOWER charges a one time fee
for the registration of $16.95 Their
Web Hosting Plan includes the domain
name if you are using one of the
more common extensions - .com, .net
etc.
After completing the registration
process,
first-time registrants will receive
a temporary user id and password
from CIRA,
which they will have to enter on
CIRA's secure Web site in order
to accept the
Registrant Agreement and CIRA's
Registration Rules. |

Who Looks After The Domain Name
Registration? |

Normally, KISS registers your site
and sets your web hosting in place.
We then bill you for the cost of
your domain name and web hosting for
one year. You are free to register
your name and set up your own web
hosting. We just find it easier to
look after the details of the web
hosting and name as we require
access to your hosting provider
until your site is "live" for
testing etc. |
